About Studio Ludgate
Before launching Studio Ludgate, I owned The Makery, a creative workshop space and retail shop in Mill Valley, California. The Makery hosted thoughtfully curated workshops, classes, and private events. It was there that I discovered how much I loved bringing people together and creating meaningful experiences centered around making.
At every gathering, we welcomed guests to a beautifully set table, where each person found a hand-painted place card—a small detail that made the occasion feel personal and thoughtfully considered.
After moving to Minnesota, I eventually found my way back to that work—and to the joy of making things by hand.
Today, Studio Ludgate is a small, independent studio where artists bring together watercolor, paper, and a love of beautiful details to create pieces that help your gatherings feel warm, personal, and intentional.
